Lever Valves
A lever valve or lever ball valve is found in plumbing sytems and enables easy and quick interruption of the flow of liquid or gas through a piping system. The lever on the outside of the valve is moved manually to adjust the flow. When the handle is parallel to the pipe there will be a full flow through the valve, when the lever is moved to a position perpendicular to the pipe (90 degrees) the valve is closed completely and the flow stops.
