Torx bit sockets are sockets that terminate with a 6-point star shaped bit designed to fit into the corresponding torx shaped recess in torx or star head screws or bolts to either loosen or tighten them. Torx bit sockets are available in a wide range of sizes indicated with the letter 'T' followed by a number such as T10, T20 etc. Some torx bit sockets feature a tamperproof torx bit designed for use with tamperproof torx fasteners which have additional security features.
